Finally, cooler weather arrives in Jacksonville

After a warm and humid stretch, cooler weather is moving into Jacksonville tonight.

Today, the ocean was showing some impressive waves along Jacksonville Beach, with surf reaching around 7 to 9 feet. The conditions attracted surfers looking to catch some waves, although strong currents made conditions dangerous for swimmers.

Tonight, skies will be mostly clear, winds will gradually weaken, and temperatures will drop into the upper 60s.
