Jaguars fans will have to start their Sunday much earlier than usual this weekend.

The Jacksonville Jaguars face the Philadelphia Eagles in London on Sunday, October 11, with kickoff scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Jacksonville Jaguars

The unusual kickoff time means several Jacksonville-area businesses are adjusting their schedules or holding special morning watch parties.

SIP Cocktail Bar in Downtown Jacksonville normally doesn’t open until later on Sundays, but for the London game it will open its doors at 9:00 a.m. The “Rooftop Roar” event will feature specialty drinks, food and a free teal shot each time Jacksonville scores a touchdown. Downtown Jacksonville

The Block Jax is also hosting a Jaguars-Eagles watch party. VIP check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., with the game shown on the venue’s large screen. General admission is free, while reserved VIP seating is available for purchase. Eventbrite

Culhane’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is another option for fans looking for an early-morning sports-bar atmosphere. Its Southside location lists Sunday opening at 9:00 a.m., putting fans inside before the 9:30 kickoff.

The Jaguars themselves are also listing Mr. Chubby’s Wings as their official watch-party location for the Eagles game. Jacksonville Jaguars

The early start isn’t limited to this weekend. Jacksonville will play another London game against the Houston Texans on October 18, also kicking off at 9:30 a.m. ET. Jacksonville Jaguars

So yes — Jacksonville will be waking up early for football Sunday, and some local bars and restaurants are doing the same.
