Daytona Beach and the Space Coast should also watch for deteriorating ocean conditions as stronger winds arrive.
Tampa Bay and West-Central Florida

The biggest weather story may arrive after Friday.
Forecasters warn that a cold front could bring wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph to parts of Central Florida this weekend.
Along portions of the Atlantic coast, waves could reach 9 to 12 feet, creating dangerous swimming conditions, stronger rip currents and possible beach erosion.
Flooding along the St. Johns River also remains a concern in parts of Lake and Volusia counties.

Friday will feel like summer in much of Florida, but the weekend could bring a noticeable reminder that fall is here.
