Woman sets man on fire in Miami

MIAMI, Fla. — October 25, 2026 — A horrifying incident in Miami-Dade County has left a man hospitalized with severe burns and a woman under arrest after authorities said the victim was set on fire Saturday evening.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an emergency call around 6 p.m. on October 24 near Northwest 63rd Street and 25th Avenue.

When officers arrived, they discovered a man suffering from extensive burns. The victim was reportedly unconscious and required immediate medical attention.

Emergency responders transported him to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

According to CBS News Miami, the man’s injuries were so severe that he was unable to speak. His condition was described as critical but stable.
