Trump: “Greenland is done”, soldiers ready to go

President Donald J. Trump announces complete and permanent American security control over Greenland, and excludes any adversary from Greenland and the surrounding region.

Trump announced Friday that the United States has reached an agreement with Denmark to secure permanent American control over security and strategic defense matters in Greenland.

The deal would allow the U.S. to expand its military presence on the island and prevent rival powers from establishing military bases or strategic investments there.

However, Greenland has not officially become part of the United States. Greenland remains a self-governing territory within the Kingdom of Denmark.
