Man killed after being struck by Amtrak train

A man was killed after being struck by an Amtrak train in Osceola County Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the man was walking on the railroad tracks near Kissimmee when the northbound train struck him.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not publicly released his identity.

No injuries were reported among the passengers or crew aboard the train.
